Two winning tickets were purchased in New York. The other is a million-dollar winner, while the first is worth $3 million.

According to the January 10 Mega Millions drawing, these were the winning numbers:
7-13-14-15-18 +9
Three $3 million winners were announced, one of whom was from New York. In Orange County, Smokes for Less sold the winning ticket.
In the Empire State, another winning ticket was purchased. That person was one of 13 $1,000,000 winners. It was purchased in New York.
Mega Millions’ second-largest jackpot
Even though Friday the 13th is thought to be unlucky, if someone wins the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot in history, it might turn out to be their fortunate day.
For the drawing held on Friday, January 13, the grand prize has reached $1.35 billion. The payoff in cash comes to roughly $708 million.
Pat McDonald, Lead Director of the Mega Millions Consortium, reports that the jackpot has rolled once more, holding everyone who follows Mega Millions in suspense for yet another drawing. The Mega Millions jackpot, which is currently at $1.35 billion, is rising and breaking records as the second-highest Mega Millions jackpot ever. Our member lotteries raise money for a variety of worthwhile organisations, from educational initiatives to conservation efforts. We’re honoured to back these initiatives.
Over the years, six jackpots have been won on Friday the 13th, four of them in Michigan. In March 2009, there was a single Friday the 13th winner in New York.
