Powerball winner from Trumbull wins $2 million.

On Tuesday, a resident of Trumbull took home a $2 million Powerball jackpot, according to the official website of the Connecticut Lottery.

According to the website, the winning ticket was obtained at Cumberland Farms in Fairfield. Additionally, the lucky winner’s name was not posted online to protect their privacy.

Don’t give up just yet, those of us who are still hoping to win big. The next Mega Millions drawing is on Friday night, and the prize has once more increased to almost $1.35 billion. This is the second-highest attendance for the event in its history.
