The prize for the New York LOTTO drawing's second-place winning ticket is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Recently, a lottery ticket worth thousands of dollars was sold in Syosset.

At the BP gas station on South Oyster Bay Road, a second-prize ticket for the New York LOTTO drawing on January 11 was sold.

 The price of the ticket is a staggering $229,784.

The numbers drawn on January 11 were 21-25-31-43-45-54, as well as Bonus Number 32.

 The winning ticket correctly predicted five out of the six numbers as well as the bonus number.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing has increased to $16.6 million because no first prize winning ticket was sold.

Up to a year after the drawing date, the ticket may be claimed.
